Mayco Stroke & Coats Stroke & Coat underglazes (also known as Wonderglazes) are premier products for decorating bisque in 1, 2 or 3 coats! Apply Stroke-&-Coats to bisque, let dry, apply clear or semi-translucent glaze and fire to produce a finish that is almost foolproof for any skill level. They are easy to use, nontoxic, dinnerware-safe and just plain fun! Stroke & Coats are hybrid underglazes with glaze ingredients. Like the (now discontinued) Duncan Concepts, theyre intended for use on bisque, but they can also be used on wet clay (aka greenware) if you allow open surface areas for gases to escape during bisque firing.
