Our clays and glazes are made in Portland (Oregon) with the finest raw materials from all over the country and careful attention to detail and the needs of Northwest clay artists. We monitor the composition of our raw materials and fire sample tiles from each new batch of clay. When the raw materials change, we test the new materials in our own dilatometer to make sure they meet our standards and our clays will still perform. We make hundreds of tons of custom clays for our customers each year. Minimum order size is generally about one ton, but varies with final batch size.
